Candy Cane Lane

Let's all go on a walk through Candy Cane Lane!  That would be fun, right?  Maybe this weekend.

a fun thing to do that you can walk to

My neighbor told me that the X-mas tree farm on the corner of Winnetka and Victory has a nice little Christmas display and they give the kids fresh popped popcorn.  You could walk if it's not too cold.  Anyone up for it any night?  Let me know.

I love this blog

Thanks, Craig. Hi neighbors! This is such a great idea. I can't wait for the Progressive Dinner. Put the kids in their snow clothes and hit the road. :) I will post some holiday pictures soon....I love all the picures that are already on there.

Their bells are on...

That must mean the Holidays are near!  Let's get some neighborhood plans together.  And just you wait until you see our trees...pink, lavender, marabou, glowing orb...you'll have to wait.

Ebay score!

Check out this great china I got on ebay.  It's Rosenthal, designed by Raymond Loewy.  I'm just starting to collect it, but I got a service for 4...only 9.99!

Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog.  It's just getting off the ground, but there's a lot on the way.  Hopefully, this will become a community bulletin board for the residents of our unique corner of the San Fernando Valley, as well as a place for others to learn about it.  Anyone who lives in Eastwood Estates or Corbin Palms, as well as the periphery, is encouraged to sign up at blogspot.com or get a google account and then email me so I can add you as an author which will enable you to post on the blog as well.  You can post pictures of your latest house projects, pictures of your latest ebay finds, pictures of the latest "happy hour playdate," using discretion of course, contractor requests/recommendations, neighborhood issues, school events, or whatever you want.  It's great to be living in Eastwood Estates!  We've got an amazing, diverse group of people here and this is another place to bring it all together and grow our community even larger...that means you too, Corbin Palms.
